warm regards
Ecards Need to be Better
It’s hard enough to express your feelings, and when you add hurdles like subscriptions and ads, it’s tempting just to give up and text. There should be more cards on the internet, and you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to send them. This site aims to make the internet a little bit nicer by providing a simple way to brighten someone’s day.The cards are free. I might offer high resolution downloads for a small donation sometime in the future, but for now: this is my hobby. There are no trackers or popups, no annoying calls to action with false urgency.Send someone a reminder that you’re thinking of them. And maybe start your own site to offer others a way to do the same.
faqs
Is this site for real?
Yes. I can never find stamps in time to mail cards, and most ecard companies want a subscription or they embed ads. I found myself making digital cards for almost every occasion, and figured: why not share them with other people?
Who made the art?
I did. Everything here is either drawn by me, or photographed by me.
Why is all the art so basic?
Partly because this is the best I could do, and partly because I strongly feel that the sentiment should come from you.
Did you know that 'warm regards' is a thing already?
Yes. This site’s concept is an homage to ‘Schitt’s Creek’ because, much like Alexis and David and Stevie, my heart is full, but my words have always been inadequate.
Who are you?
Just a random person who likes to draw and make web sites. My day job has nothing to do with making art or coding.
What tools do you use?
Procreate; Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher; watercolor and pencil. There’s no reason to pay outrageous subscription fees for good creative tools.
